Remarks: started out the day with several "wild goose chases" in which we couldn't find the sales...the ones we did find today were offering mostly newer stuff which isn't all that interesting to us--we vastly prefer vintage cuuh! But we did manage to find a few good deals, and it was a beautiful day to drive around, so all-in-all, a great day. The real fun, however, began when we got home and arranged the cuuh for photography. We decided to photograph the golf umbrella we bought open, as a backdrop to the other stuff. Well, that was a big hit with the boys! They were fascinated with the umbrella. After the photography session we put the open umbrella on the floor so they could check it out more closely, and Rita joined Attie and Felix in the fun. Instant cave! And there was an oscillating fan sitting just behind where we put the umbrella, which made *shadows* on the back of the nylon as it moved!! Such fun!!
Amount spent: $7.70 ("overlooked items" included in this total)
