Weather: once again, perfect! We did encounter a rain shower, but it was brief.

Remarks: we started about 9:30, went to a few sales in Loveland, then headed for Bellvue, stopping at a few sales in Ft Collins on the way. We had lunch at Vern's, then headed over to see how work on the cuuhcuuh's nest was progressing.

Amount spent

The cuuhcuuh's nest is looking great! The carpenters were working today, installing siding on the back of the building. They were working from a boom forklift which supported a platform working surface, and they drove the forklift around to a couple of different places so Mick could take some pictures with elevation. Joe, Gail and one of the carpenters went up on the 1st trip, Gail stayed with me on the ground for the 2nd trip, which is pictured here:

A great perspective and a marvelous view!

Mick asked Joe to install a safety strap for peace of mind! View of the cuuhcuuh's nest from above:

Siding and brick are on the front and all the windows are in. The siding on the section to the right of the brickwork is finished tongue-and-groove boards of various widths, staggered, and the area above the roof has been stained. The trim on that section and the siding on the rest of the building are rough-finished boards. Pictures of the house and old barn taken from above:

This picture, taken from ground level near the road, it shows where the buildings are, relative to one another. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Views inside, these were all taken on the upper floor:

This picture was taken from roughly the same spot, but looking in the other direction, toward the stairway and the bump-out on the other end of the building.
