Remarks: this is always a great sale!
Amount spent: $11.25
The annual spring rummage sale held by the Presbyterian Church on N Garfield is the best in town, consistently. Ruck and I look forward to it every year with much anticipation, Joe has joined us in the last few years. The sale is always very organized, the merchandise is top quality, and the pricing is reasonable. The sale today lived up to expectations and we came home with some great deals. Nothing heavy enough to qualify as "true CUUH," but we are happy shoppers nonetheless.
Columbia Sportswear fishing shirt (for Joe, he likes these): 50 cents
citrus juicer: $1.50
Rowenta Professional iron (identical to one I have and love): $3
the rest of the stuff in the picture was from a "fill a bag for 75 cents" table, it is what I could get into 1 bag. The material in the top left of the picture is all pieces/scraps of (commercial) felt; in the lower left is a piece of pink satin and a piece of black velveteen. The white materials in the center of the picture are various kinds of interfacing, fusible web and a package of fusible poly batting. Also included in the bag were a cross stitch kit (Pooh) and 10 uncut stretch-n-sew patterns, I will probably try to sell these.
5 very colorful silk ties: 10 cents each
needlepoint pillow: 50 cents
Felix, checking out the haul: priceless
