Makeovers from men's suits (actual title), USDA booklet from 1942 explaining how to make clothing from the precious wool that was going unused while the owners were overseas. Heavy emphasis on thrift and recycling resources on the homefront.
Interesting Recipies from the West Coast, (actual title),a booklet put out by the West Coast Lumber Association, no date. Gorgeous interior shots of beautiful homes paneled and sided with fir, hemlock or cedar accompany the recipies.
